Gen 32:3 And he sent messengers before him to Esau his brother to the land of Seir to the country of Edom:
Gen 32:16 And he sent them by the hands of his servants, every drove by itself, and he said to his servants: Go before me, and let there be a space between drove and drove.
Gen 32:17 And he commanded the first, saying: If thou meet my brother Esau, and he ask thee: Whose art thou? or whither goest thou? or whose are these before thee?
Gen 32:20 And ye shall add: Thy servant Jacob himself also followeth after us; for he said: I will appease him with the presents that go before, and afterwards I will see him, perhaps he will be gracious to me.
Gen 32:21 So the presents went before him, but himself lodged that night in the camp.

Ex 5:21 And they said to them: The Lord see and judge, because you have made our savour to stink before Pharao and his servants, and you have given him a sword to kill us.
Ex 6:12 Moses answered before the Lord: Behold the children of Israel do not hearken to me; and how will Pharao hear me, especially as I am of uncircumcised lips?
Ex 6:30 And Moses said before the Lord: Lo I am of uncircumcised lips, how will Pharao hear me?

Ex 7:20 And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord had commanded: and lifting up the rod he struck the water of the river before Pharao and his servants: and it was turned into blood.
Ex 8:20 The Lord also said to Moses: Arise early, and stand before Pharao: for he will go forth to the waters: and thou shalt say to him: Thus saith the Lord: Let my people go to sacrifice to me.
