I Ki 20:12
Jonathan said to David: O Lord God of Israel, if I shall discover my father's mind, to morrow or the day after, and there be any thing good for David, and I send not immediately to thee, and make it known to thee,
I Ki 20:13
May the Lord do so and so to Jonathan and add still more. But if my father shall continue in malice against thee, I will discover it to thy ear, and will send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace, and the Lord be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
I Ki 20:15
Thou shalt not take away thy kindness from my house for ever, when the Lord shall have rooted out the enemies of David, every one of them from the earth, may he take away Jonathan from his house, and may the Lord require it at the hands of David's enemies.
I Ki 20:16
Jonathan therefore made a covenant with the house of David: and the Lord required it at the hands of David's enemies.
I Ki 20:17
And Jonathan swore again to David, because he loved him: for he loved him as his own soul.
I Ki 20:18
And Jonathan said to him: To morrow is the new moon, and thou wilt be missed:
I Ki 20:25
And when the king sat down upon his chair (according to custom) which was beside the wall, Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul's side, and David's place appeared empty.
I Ki 20:27
And when the second day after the new moon was come, David's place appeared empty again. And Saul said to Jonathan his son: Why cometh not the son of Isai to meat neither yesterday nor to day?
I Ki 20:28
And Jonathan answered Saul: He asked leave of me earnestly to go to Bethlehem,
I Ki 20:30
Then Saul being angry against Jonathan said to him: Thou son of a woman that is the ravisher of a man, do I not know that thou lovest the son of Isai to thy own confusion and to the confusion of thy shameless mother?
I Ki 20:32
And Jonathan answering Saul his father, said: Why shall he die: what hath he done?
I Ki 20:33
And Saul caught up a spear to strike him. And Jonathan understood that it was determined by his father to kill David.
I Ki 20:34
So Jonathan rose from the table in great anger, and did not eat bread on the second day after the new moon. For he was grieved for David, because his father had put him to confusion.
I Ki 20:35
And when the morning came, Jonathan went into the field, according to the appointment with David, and a little boy with him.
I Ki 20:37
The boy therefore came to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot: and Jonathan cried after the boy, and said: Behold the arrow is there further beyond thee.
I Ki 20:37
The boy therefore came to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot: and Jonathan cried after the boy, and said: Behold the arrow is there further beyond thee.
I Ki 20:38
And Jonathan cried again after the boy, saying: Make haste speedily, stand not. And Jonathan's boy gathered up the arrows, and brought them to his master:
I Ki 20:39
And he knew not at all what was doing: for only Jonathan and David knew the matter.
I Ki 20:40
Jonathan therefore gave his arms to the boy, and said to him: Go, and carry them into the city.
I Ki 20:42
And Jonathan said to David: Go in peace: and let all stand that we have sworn both of us in the name of the Lord, saying: The Lord be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever.
I Ki 20:43
And David arose, and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.
I Ki 23:16
And Jonathan the son of Saul arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hands in God: and he said to him:
I Ki 23:18
And the two made a covenant before the Lord: and David abode in the wood: but Jonathan returned to his house.
I Ki 31:2
And the Philistines fell upon Saul, and upon his sons, and they slew Jonathan, and Abinadab and Melchisua the sons of Saul.
II Ki 1:4
And David said unto him: What is the matter that is come to pass? tell me. He said: The people are fled from the battle, and many of the people are fallen and dead: moreover Saul and Jonathan his son are slain.
II Ki 1:5
And David said to the young man that told him: How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son, are dead?
II Ki 1:12
And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until evening for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the Lord, and for the house of Israel, because they were fallen by the sword.
II Ki 1:17
And David made this kind of lamentation over Saul, and over Jonathan his son.
II Ki 1:22
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the valiant, the arrow of Jonathan never turned back, and the sword of Saul did not return empty.
II Ki 1:23
Saul and Jonathan, lovely, and comely in their life, even in death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, stronger than lions.
II Ki 1:25
How are the valiant fallen in battle? Jonathan slain in the high places?
II Ki 1:26
I grieve for thee, my brother Jonathan: exceeding beautiful, and amiable to me above the love of women. As the mother loveth her only son, so did I love thee.
II Ki 4:4
And Jonathan the son of Saul had a son that was lame of his feet: for he was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan from Jezrahel. And his nurse took him up and fled: and as she made haste to flee, he fell and became lame: and his name was Miphiboseth.
II Ki 4:4

II Ki 9:3
And the king said: Is there any one left of the house of Saul, that I may shew the mercy of God unto him? And Siba said to the king: There is a son of Jonathan left, who is lame of his feet.
II Ki 9:6
And when Miphiboseth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul was come to David, he fell on his face and worshipped. And David said: Miphiboseth? And he answered: Behold thy servant.
II Ki 9:7
And David said to him: Fear not, for I will surely shew thee mercy for Jonathan thy father's sake, and I will restore the lands of Saul thy father, and thou shalt eat bread at my table always.
II Ki 15:27
And the king said to Sadoc the priest: O seer, return into the city in peace: and let Achimaas thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar, your two sons, be with you.
II Ki 15:36
And there are with them their two sons Achimaas the son of Sadoc, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar: and you shall send by them to me every thing that you shall hear.
II Ki 17:17
And Jonathan and Achimaas stayed by the fountain Rogel: and there went a maid and told them: and they went forward, to carry the message to king David, for they might not be seen, nor enter into the city.
II Ki 17:20
And when Absalom's servants were come into the house, they said to the woman: Where is Achimaas and Jonathan? and the woman answered them: They passed on in haste, after they had tasted a little water. But they that sought them, when they found them not, returned into Jerusalem.
II Ki 21:7
And the king spared Miphiboseth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the oath of the Lord, that had been between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
II Ki 21:7
And the king spared Miphiboseth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the oath of the Lord, that had been between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
II Ki 21:12
And David went, and took the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabes Galaad, who had stolen them from the street of Bethsan, where the Philistines had hanged them when they had slain Saul in Gelboe.
II Ki 21:13
And he brought from thence the bones of Saul, and the bones of Jonathan his son, and they gathered up the bones of them that were crucified,
II Ki 21:14
And they buried them with the bones of Saul, and of Jonathan his son in the land of Benjamin, in the side, in the sepulchre of Cis his father: and they did all that the king had commanded, and God shewed mercy again to the land after these things.
II Ki 21:21

And he reproached Israel: and Jonathan the son of Samae the brother of David slew him.

Eliaba of Salaboni. The sons of Jassen, Jonathan,
III Ki 1:42
While he yet spoke, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came: and Adonias said to him: Come in, because thou art a valiant man, and bringest good news.
III Ki 1:43
And Jonathan answered Adonias: Not so: for our lord king David hath appointed Solomon king.
